Should you always change the front and rear jets together. Can you just change the front jets to get alittle more lean cruising and leave the rear jets alone?Or if you go down or up in size should you always do the same for the rear jets too? I know more questions, hey it's slow today and HOT too. ------------------ SCOOP oddly obsessed with big scoops on little Mustangs 2.26 60'S 14.9 @ 90.86MPH 65 coupe,351w,C4,Big Boss 429 hood scoop,8"3.40 TracLoc,Cragar SS,Black Suede. https://mustangsandmore.com/ubb/Fastymz.html

Also the floats should they always be set to the same level both front and rear.Or is it ok to run alittle more in the front the or rear float?------------------ SCOOP oddly obsessed with big scoops on little Mustangs 2.26 60'S 14.9 @ 90.86MPH 65 coupe,351w,C4,Big Boss 429 hood scoop,8"3.40 TracLoc,Cragar SS,Black Suede. https://mustangsandmore.com/ubb/Fastymz.html

Im no expert but my frt float is lower than the back and runs great.Ive heard you should change both sets of jets equally Ive been told should be 8 size difference like 75frt & 83rear.Ive read where if you have enough time on a dyno you can get top performance with different jetting on all four corners.

Ron,You can jet the primaries for around town driving and the rear for w.o.t. Once you get the primaries jetted right, then change only the rear jets for wide open throttle blasts. On a street/strip car like yours anyway. Once your car launches harder you'll want the rear float adjusted higher than the front. The fuel will slosh away from the jets in the rear bowl. 6-8 jet sizes difference between the front and rear is good with a power valve. SteveW

Thanks Steve, and Radride. Steve thats what I was thinking the car could use alittle less front jets for around town. But leaving the rear jets FAT for WOT. I run the rear floats just alittle higher now. I've never read anything about this topic. Thanks for the help. BTW I'm running 69-76 jets now. Do you think I could run 68 fronts or would 67 be more noticable should I drop the rear jets one size too? ------------------ SCOOP oddly obsessed with big scoops on little Mustangs 2.26 60'S 14.9 @ 90.86MPH 65 coupe,351w,C4,Big Boss 429 hood scoop,8"3.40 TracLoc,Cragar SS,Black Suede. https://mustangsandmore.com/ubb/Fastymz.html
