well guys and girls I have a 1967 cougar that I just got done tubbing out and installing a 4link. It is just a drag only car disk brakes all the way around,32x14 rear,26x4 front. Motor is a 395windsor 13to1 flattops with ported out roush 200 heads. solidroller, jim kuntz selected the cam. vic jr intake,supercomp headers,msd stuff. best pass with the car so far is 7.25 at 97mph. Have a lot more tuning to do that is where you guys come in>>>

OK, LET'S DIVE IN! - So are ya running a C-4? - What the rating of your front springs & rear coilovers? - What shocks are you using? - What's the rearend gear ratio? - What are the spec's on your solid-roller cam? - What size carb, jets, & squirters? Also, How much does the car weigh? How high does the convertor stall if it's an automatic car?

Hi it does have a c4 trans 260 front spring rate 175 coilover qa1 proma star shocks 5.29 gear 270 int and 264 exh at .050 .688 lift and .672 108 lobe sep 950hp jetted 88 square 31 shooter timing locked at 35 3200lb without the driver 3500lb with the driver convert is 4000 stall against the brake

It has alot of body roll to the right rear if the shocks arent set tight other than that it handle good. BUt the 60 foot are not good with a 1.65 being the best so far my old car was doing 1.50 with less power. Iam going to alchol in the next day or to. my instant center is just be low the shifter. When the car leaves it lifts the front wheels but then sets them right back down

My opinion, it needs the instant center moved out farther, it probably could stand some pre load put in the passenger side (not sure if it would be in the top bar or the bottom bar on that side), maybe even an inch or inch and a half of pre load stuck on the shock on that side to try and get it to quite rolling over. Plus, it sounds like the convertor is too tight.
