We just picked up a good running used 1985 351w 4V truck motor, and a 1986 AOD.All for my dads T-bucket project. We going to thourgh the motor, and have the trans guy go over the AOD for us.
Do any of know what kind of power the motor has stock. It does have an MSD non vac advance dist, and holley fuel pump, and a performer intake. All of which we'll use for now. This is a real low buck project car.We want it to run strong, but does not have to set any records.
I need to know how to plug the smog holes in the back of the heads.
We got both for $1000,with convertor, flex plate, and a complete motor minus carb, and smog pump.

Good deal, Scoop. That engine should have around 210 hp and 325 lbs/ft without looking it up.

You can plug the Thermactor holes with 3/8" and 7/16" bolts.
