Ron, Thanks but I might be a little optimistic about TC's car.

I'm picturing a great hooking drag car with the ladder bars and gutted interior.

TC,

What I don't like is the 3500 stall converter. You're gonna have to spin that 351w up pretty high and a 4500 stall would be better for a hard launch. You'll need to hook hard, and run hard to run a 11 flat. Good luck and enjoy whatever it runs.

Mid to high 11's. The convertor is going to kill it.

If it's a C6, my guess goes to high 11's without the possibilty of any mid 11's.

the trans is a rebuilt c4.

i was going to go with a 4500 stall but i will drive it on the street once in a while and it might be little hard with a 4500 converter.

i am still contimplating though.

If I remember right it was,Rob talking about running around town with a 4500 stall in his car.He said it was not that bad.I can't see why 4500 would be any worse around townt hen the 3500 stall, but thats just my opinion.

has anyone heard anything about Bulk Parts.com "ignitor ss" torque converters are they good quality?

will 4500 stall on the street be more harsh than 3500 stall?

is running that much stall on the street ok?

From what I've read anything over 3000rpm is alitle harsh on the street. So I would think more would not be better, just not sure how worse it would be.
From the set up of your car now.I'd go for max ET and drive it on the street any ways.It will make stop lights that much more fun.4000rpm luanchs stop light to stop light.
