I ended up rebuilding my 289 and put the tri-y headers on and also I took the 3 speed stick out and installed a c-4.The engine only has about 10 miles on it before I took it on the track.I ended up running my best time of 13.55 @ 99.43 mph which I was really happy with. The only thing that I am concerned with is the engine is running pretty hot.By the time I get back to the pits she is at 210. Any suggetions would be appreciated, I have a 3 core rad with a flex fan , I was thinking of an electric fan.

Those are good times and your almost to 100mph. Don't get too upset about the temps yet. Give to engine a little time to break in. It is common for a fresh engine to run warm.------------------ Ben Grabber Green '70 Mach I 351C 4V Robbin Egg Blue '79 Fairmont 351C 4V
