You left out the most important detail about your car. What kind of exhaust system do you have? How restrictive your exhaust is will determine how much ET or MPH you will pick up.My old 2 1/4 system with midas mufflers(some turbo type)would slow me down close to 4/10s of a second compared to open headers.I now have 2 1/2 pipe back to the mufflers(new flowtech afterburners)and now it only slows me down about 2/10ths.I still have the 2 1/4 tailpipes and they are not mandrel bent so they don't flow very good.I am hoping to replace the tailpipes this summer and get it down to less than a tenth difference between open headers and full exhaust.

if you have 2.5 inch mandrels and low rest mufflers like flowmasters leave it alone you will loose low end torque only to can it in the upper rpms like 6000 and up i run 13.0 at 97 with the exusht i decribed over the axles and out with a Dr. gas X-pipe all mandle bent alluminized with 3.55 a mini spool and street tires of course i am waiting on my 393 stroker kit i have on the way but the 13.o was with stock heads 1.78 and 1.45 valves reg rockers and comp 280 cam holley 600 and duraspark Bruce
