I am about to start a overhaul/modification on my completely original, never rebuilt or modified 70 351W 2V. But like most young mustangers, I am in search for a little more power. The edelbrock performer RPM package is tempting, but is also quite expensive with the aluminum heads in there. I really would love to get a reliable 350hp out of it without new heads or major mods to the stockers. I am asking this simply because I dont think a RPM intake, super comp headers, and compcam 270H would get me there. Or would it? Any opinions or proven setups would be very helpful.

Top it off with a 750 dp and hold on

a light clean up of the stock castings and 1.94/1.60 valves is a piece of cake. you will probably be having new guides installed so while you are at it have them cut new seats for the bigger valves.
