OOPS It should read my new water pump! It is leaking on the under side of the snout.Where that little hole is,I think it's a drain hole for something??? I dont know what that little is called but they all have it.The car ran fine today two short drives.Got home from a 10min drive.Parked the car and it started to leak from the hole? It leaks mostly when the car is off. Any idea's is a bad pump! Not even sure if this brand has a warranty?I need to find a more realaxing hobbie. ------------------ SCOOP oddly obsessed with big scoops on little Mustangs

Scoop that hole is there to tell you when your seal is shot. When I was young and poorer I thought why not just plug the hole with silicone. It worked great for a while until the bearing seized and the shaft snapped off, putting my brand new clutch fan through my brand new three core rad Anyways change the pump.------------------ 1968 mustang j-code sprint.13.69@101 306cu.in, stock ported heads, weiand exellerator,650 holley DP,hedman hedders, comp 292 Magnum cam,4-speed,8 inch 4.11 detroit locker http://mustangsandmore.50megs.com/MembersPics/mustangboy.html

Thats what I thought it was too.But was hoping some how it would go away. Think it will be ok to drive it to the trans shop and back. It's about a 5 mile drive each way.------------------ SCOOP oddly obsessed with big scoops on little Mustangs "Why do people who know the least know it the loudest?" 2.26 60'S 14.9 @ 90.86MPH 65 coupe,351w,C4,Big Boss 429 hood scoop,8"3.40 TracLoc,Cragar SS,Black Suede. https://mustangsandmore.com/ubb/Fastymz.html

Yup, sorry to say that the water pump is pooched , luckily it is an easy and cheap fix, change it before you take the car to the shop. Scoop,Don't do any sky-diving or bungee jumpin' this week. To just be safe I'd even stay away from bowling. If you take a bath...get out of the tub before you pull the plug. Joe
