Last the best time was 14.9 what do you think my best time will be this year.I'm really hoping to see mid 14's at Fallon Nv.
I know I still need some sticky tires. But what do you think the new cam and long tubes will do for me.

And what will it take from here to see 13's.

It should run better than it has.

Well, that all depends I guess.

It depends if it's a 594 foot track, a 600 foot track, 660 foot track, a 1000 foot track, or a 1320 foot track.

Steve I hope it runs better.

Alex I for one don't care if it's a 1317.5 or a 592 foot track,it's all fun.

But then again I wonder what I'd run in a 397.3 foot track down hill all the way with the wind to my back, and a push start from 4 midget topless girls.

If they are midgets, you won't be able to enjoy the view from the rear view mirror.

I don't see why you couldn't run in the 13s with a little tweaking.

I dont see that happing at 4200+ feet in Fallon.
I'd be happy with low 14's at Fallon.

Whats S.W.A.G. ?

14.3 would make my day.

My son went to the drags yesterday with my father and brother inlaw. To see some of my brother inlaws chevy buddys run.
One of the fastest street cars there was a blue 70's mustang running a 351c.He was running 11.5.The chvey guys one had a 69 chevelle with a built 502 in it.He turned a best of 12.99.Nice hear that the little 351c Ford kick his butt.
Then my father inlaw was telling me about how funny the real slow cars looked. He said you the one's running in the 14and 15's they take all day to get downt he track.

91 MPH equals 14.20 with optimum conditions of traction and gear ratio. With that in mind 13?s don?t seem to impossible.

  • 71 Mach1 351c
  • E/SA 11.89-110 mph
  • F/SA 11.76-111 mph

Thankfully I can beat your truck.I was worried at 1st you were going to say you ran a 14.5 or something.
It's still fun at any speed.
