I am so confused on the direction I want too go with my motor. I change my mind every other day. One person says go 302, the next says go 351. U cant use this header or those heads with that engine and vica versa. I dont know. How do I decide? What are the benefits of both motors. How is one better then the other.

Easy choice! The 351w starts out with a better block, heavier crank and is already bigger than a stroked 302! And it has the capability of growing into a "big" block. All in a small block package. It's a no brainer, put a Windsor in it. Get a good night's rest and quit thinking about it. If you have parts that won't work with the W, sell them on e-bay. There are lots of folks that decided on the little motor that'll buy your parts and try to run with you when you get the W finished. SteveW

I don't see the problem here. You have a running 351? And you don't have it in the car yet? ------------------ Ben Grabber Green '70 Mach I 351C 4V Robbin Egg Blue '79 Fairmont 351C 4V

I thought the answer would be 351? one more question. Since its going into a 66 coupe, what are my options as far as headers. I know space is limited.

The cheap answer is Heddman's, but you'll have to cut and weld the collectors to clear the underbody. The good answer is Hooker super comps. SteveW

Man is that all you've got to think about.I've got a 68 mustang so anything will fit in it and I've got a 302 in it,a 351 windsor,428,390,429 and a 460 all tucked away and some in pieces.Just when I think I've got my mind made up which direction I'm headed I see a good working combo and I change my mind again.I guess I need more cars to go with my engines ------------------ 1968 mustang j-code sprint.13.69@101 306cu.in, stock ported heads, weiand exellerator,650 holley DP,hedman hedders, comp 292 Magnum cam,4-speed,8 inch 4.11 detroit locker http://mustangsandmore.50megs.com/MembersPics/mustangboy.html

Take it from me get the super comps if you can. That way you never have to change them again. Do the 351w and sale the 302 and it's parts.
