What was your average psi on the test? 100 psi cylinder fill, they'd hold 97 psi or better . 175-180 cranking pressure on all 8 cylinders [This message has been edited by V8 Thumper (edited 03-09-2003).]

Why did you leak it down in the first place?------------------ Todd 71 Mav Grabber All orig 306 cu.in. Cast Iron heads. Carillo Rods.Best et. 10.71 @ 124 thru the mufflers.

Just doing a full-blown diagnosis... got some good miles on it now, time to re-torque everything and go over it with a fine tooth comb
