Is there a formula for predicting how much faster would a car run,by adding more power.Like for example if my car runs a 14.9 with about 190 rear wheel horse power. What would another 5-10-20hp ect power do for it? This question is not just about my car.I was just thinking about this last night. And I knew someone on here would know. ------------------ SCOOP oddly obsessed with big scoops on little Mustangs 2.26 60'S 14.9 @ 90.86MPH 65 coupe,351w,C4,Big Boss 429 hood scoop,8"3.40 TracLoc,Cragar SS,Black Suede. https://mustangsandmore.com/ubb/Fastymz.html

If you add 20 hp to the rear wheel, my guess would be 3 mph and .45 of a sec. Hans

Cool thats what I was looking for.And is it safe to say that 10rwhp is = to about 13 flywheel Hp. So for every 1 mph you get .10 off your time.
