What is everyone using in thier cars?I made my linkage out of the bell crank disaster that was originally on the fairlane by welding rods together but am out of adjustment.I would rather go to a cable.Years ago i robbed a pedal and cable out of a pinto for my (UH HEM nevermind)and it worked great after remaking the pedal arm some, but pintos are long gone from the boneyards

I use a 1/4" allthread with rod ends, and a stainless tube in the center. Functional and has a clean look to it

It's such a simple operation that you will laugh. As long as you have an original firewall pedal pivot, you can make the rest. Part store has it all.

2 snap linkage ball kits (Mr. Gasket), two 1/4 threaded throttle linkage ends, and a 18 inch piece of 1/4 threaded rod. All Dorman and all available at any decent parts store.
