What is everyone using in thier cars?I made my linkage out of the bell crank disaster that was originally on the fairlane by welding rods together but am out of adjustment.I would rather go to a cable.Years ago i robbed a pedal and cable out of a pinto for my (UH HEM nevermind)and it worked great after remaking the pedal arm some, but pintos are long gone from the boneyards Dennis ------------------ 69 fairlane 351w 12.94@103mph before M&M.. after?? always in search of more HP and faster ET'S Fstln69 Pics Page

I use a 1/4" allthread with rod ends, and a stainless tube in the center. Functional and has a clean look to it ------------------ 1965 GT coupe, 333ci aluminum headed/solid cammed stroker, four speed, 3.70:1 9" All Blue Oval, no blue bottle http://mustangsandmore.50megs.com/V8Thumper.html

It's such a simple operation that you will laugh. As long as you have an original firewall pedal pivot, you can make the rest. Part store has it all.------------------ Alex Denysenko Co-Administrator and Moderator NHRA/IHRA/SRA member and licensed Superstock driver MCA member# 53321 NHRA and IHRA SS/LA National Record Holder '00,'01,'02,&'03 Fleet of FoMoCo products including 88 ASC McLaren Mustang #28 Professional Manwhore The Barry of BarrysGrrl Quote #1: "I never met a magazine mechanic I liked." 2 snap linkage ball kits (Mr. Gasket), two 1/4 threaded throttle linkage ends, and a 18 inch piece of 1/4 threaded rod. All Dorman and all available at any decent parts store. ------------------ Alex Denysenko Co-Administrator and Moderator NHRA/IHRA/SRA member and licensed Superstock driver MCA member# 53321 NHRA and IHRA SS/LA National Record Holder '00,'01,'02,&'03 Fleet of FoMoCo products including 88 ASC McLaren Mustang #28 Professional Manwhore The Barry of BarrysGrrl Quote #1: "I never met a magazine mechanic I liked."
