They are all based on the hemi but a long way removed from the original. BUT they ALL have the same type motors only the FORD body cars are winning  Just think if FORD would have stayed with the 427 cammer all the top fuel cars might have been running those today. reliability issue. ------------------

Frankly, who cares. Other than some very slight differences, and a blue oval on the nose, they all look exactly the same from 100 ft away. The real place you can see a difference is in the wind tunnel, not by appearance. Those "cars" are no more a mustang than my Lightning is. I think it really sucks that Ford would rather back those clone cars than a Pro Stock, you know, something that really looks like a car that came off the assembly line, not something that came out of a mold.

I agree KidV. All the millions of Ford $$$$, & I bet there isn`t a real Ford part used between the 3 Force cars.The same thing applies to Fords huge financial backing of "teacup" Formula 1 & CART cars. Why can`t they support race cars or teams that the average "butt in the grandstands" can relate too? They could back several good Pro Stock teams (like MoPar is doing) for WAAAAY less money, or better yet, hundreds of Stock & Super Stock cars!!!------------------

its all about $$$$ guys. if the average fan had a choice to go watch pro stock or funny car for free, guess where he would go!!------------------

I'm with you Joe,I've seen my share of Pro events.I think they all look the same.Give me bracket racing,Street cars any day.I used to go a lot to Sac Wed night when I was teenager to watch the street cars race.
