Nice shots Alex. Is it my imagination, or does MM have larger slicks in the first pic. than the 3rd shot? It kinda looks like maybe a 10 1/2" in the first, & a 9x30 radial in the 3rd. Or our my eyes playing tricks on me? Also, I thought Marks last name was Tallent, but on the door it says Tallen. Maybe I need glasses!------------------ 78 Fairmont 428 4 speed 10.20@130mph 80 Fairmont 302 5 speed 12.8@105mph 85 Mustang NHRA Stocker under construction, 302 5 speed 59 Meteor (Canadian Ford) 2 dr sedan 332, auto 74 F350 ramp truck 390 4spd

Erik, no that's the California Colt belonging to the Williams Bros. and campained by Dick and Greg Dreher. I was just the "hired gun" for the World Finals in 2001. Mark's car is a stick shift version of mine and the California Colt. It has many of my parts on it including our Super Victor intake. We share technology, parts, food, and most anything else except out women. Rory, good eyes! We use 10.5 x 30's during eliminations or at non class events.
We use the new 9 x 30 D-4A Goodyear Radial for heads up or when I want (need) to be #1 qualifier. (Pro Stock compond on the tread surface) I think that Mark lost track of a couple of his "T's" after a few too many Miller Lites one night. ------------------ Alex Denysenko Co-Administrator and Moderator NHRA/IHRA/SRA member and licensed Superstock driver MCA member# 53321 NHRA and IHRA SS/LA National Record Holder '00,'01,'02,&'03 Fleet of FoMoCo products including 88 ASC McLaren Mustang #28 Professional Manwhore The Barry of BarrysGrrl Quote #1: "I never met a magazine mechanic I liked." Nope. Alex was a "hired gun" driver for the owners of the California Colt, also a SS/LA Mustang at the 2001 Pomona NHRA World Finals. He drove it faster there than it had ever been driven before! ------------------ Beth Head Cheerleader for Moneymaker Racing! I'm so proud of Alex & Tony! I was heading back from Vegas earlier today, and heard about all the oil-downs , so I went straight home rather than stopping at the track. Besides, three days in that town can whoop the sh*t out of you and relaxing at home was sounding pretty good I might make it out there tomorrow, not sure yet. I'd love to meet the Williams, Dreher and Tallent guys pics! I would've kept the Capri, but the whole front clip was shifted to the side... It depends Buster. With the big tires on during eliminations, and on a decent track about 4400 RPM. This normally nets 1.41-1.44 60 foots. For #1 qualifying shots or heads up races with the radials on and the car all cranked up more like 56-5800 RPM. This set up will usually net 1.37 to 1.39 60 foots. ------------------ Alex Denysenko Co-Administrator and Moderator NHRA/IHRA/SRA member and licensed Superstock driver MCA member# 53321 NHRA and IHRA SS/LA National Record Holder '00,'01,'02,&'03 Fleet of FoMoCo products including 88 ASC McLaren Mustang #28 Professional Manwhore The Barry of BarrysGrrl Quote #1: "I never met a magazine mechanic I liked."
