Finally got to run the car today! Four runs and all were new bests. But the best best was a 10.666 @ 123.113 mph w/ a 1.437 60'er and a 6.725 1/8 mile. The track was cold, but the air was about -800-900' all morning. Since we were planing on a bracket race I didn't touch anything (like I would have if it was a T&T day) I still wonder how it would have like a little more timing and launh rpm, maybe less balast in the trunk? The race was cancelled due to a synthetic oil down at the 1/8 mile mark that they just couldn't get cleaned up from the cold track. Several guys almost lost it in the spot including Glens67 (who also ran a new best) The only changes for this race were droping the exhaust, and backing the timing down to 35* locked out, oh and good air. We'll go do it again on SuperBowl Sunday if the weather allows. SteveW

Thanks guys,It was carrying the front end with the wheels 10's off the track for a few feet. It was pretty cool. Glen ran well too with his street "beast". He'll have to fill you in, but I think he ran a 12.30 with a 1.8? 60'er. COOL! I think Glens67 will run 11's soon. Between the two of us we have 6 rainchecks. SteveW

662+2,Shovel snow? You talk like it's wintertime. In Northern California it's the rainy season. Thanks everyone, The first best for this combo was last spring on its second time out. It's been a long time waiting for a cool day that we could uncork this thing and see the improvements show up in the et. Thanks for letting me brag a little. SteveW
