Haven't posted in a while, but just had to tell y'all. Just got it back. Few things to finish up in the interior and I am working hard on the motor and trans. Car looks great and I am stoked. Check it out on my homepage. Under the cool cars section, click on my Mustang, at the bottom of the page is a picture section. Click the Paint and Body section.

I believe Ford called it Dark Green? Not positive. At night, the car appears to be blue, in the sunlight, it is green. It is the original color of the car from the factory. Have not seen alot of them that color. Thanks for the compliment and checkin' it out!

Alex,
The car was at the painter's for about 2 months. Basically, he took his time on it and I was okay with that. The car has been off the road and in the weather for over 4 & 1/2 years now. Paint was peeling and faded. The guy who painted it is a friend and so I got the paint job at half-price....ya' gotta like that!

Thanks Scoop. Glad you like the site too.

69maverick,
On the frontend, if you were to buy all the pieces you would be looking at somewhere around $1300-$1400 plus shipping. I was looking through classifieds one day online, and found this one with the Flaming River Manual rack and steering joint, Tubular K-member, Coil-over Spring Kit, Tubular A-Arms, Bumpsteer Kit, and an MSD Billet Distributor from a guy going through a divorce. He needed money bad and everything was brand new in the boxes. It was $920 shipped to my door. We talked several times and I was extremely nervous doing a deal like that over the net, but all worked out smoothly. I did the installation myself.

Looks great Mike!

Is it because of the lawn, or does the car sit funny in the rear?

Jerry,
Thanks!

Steve,
It is because of the lawn, plus no motor or trans, and I have not set the ride height on it yet. Glad ya like it!

I thought it must have been. The car looks great. What size are those rear meats? They look just right.

Thanks again Steve. The tires are 295-50R15's. Little massaging to get them in. The car will be a street car, but I plan on running some True Street Radial classes.
