Count to six. 1 2 3 4 5 6 That's about how long it takes a few of us to traverse an eigth of a mile at over 100 MPH.

Alex,Are you bored? Your six second ride is probably sitting in the garage w/o engine or tranny and the damned holidays are right around the corner. A little Christmas shopping and shovelling snow just isn't peaking your competitive drive is it? BTW, 0-100 mph in 6 seconds ain't bad, it's also 0-60 in 2.8 seconds, or 0-120 mph in 10 seconds. Not bad for a stocker or a street driven naturally aspirated stang. SteveW

1-2-3-4That's how want to try it this year. Got tired of counting to 6. That's why I bought the pipe rack. Err... Motor on-a-stick. Errr... I mean dragster. Wanted to go fast for cheap. Cheap being a relative word here. My 69 was a good race car, but it had reached the point where to go faster the costs were about to start getting really up there. I haven't given up on door cars though. Getting closer to a deal on a nice little 66 Mustang that would make an excellent street/strip car. Later, David Cole

It's kinda like the beer commercial used to say, it just doesn't get any better than this! Good Post Alex.
