Steve that so cool of you to do that for Melissa. If she doesn't want to go you could send me. I wonder if Alex would let me to go the MONEYMAKER school of drag and street racing. Hey Steve, Haven't attended, but they have a good reputation, so we checked into it for my daughter Ashley. Have the brochures and they cover everything you could want, so who knows, maybe one of these days.------------------ Duane 71 Fastback (his) under resto (351C-4V C6 auto) 73 Mach 1 (hers) (351CJ 4 speed) 66 289/2V coupe (daughter Ashley's) 89 LX 2.3 convertible (daughter Amanda's) M & M Member #730

Duane,That's cool, do you know what the tuition is? There's only so much I can teach Melissa, I figure Frank can take her to the next level without years of OTJ experience that most of her conpetition has. SteveW [This message has been edited by steve'66 (edited 12-14-2002).]

Have you thought about doing stunt driving instead of 1/4. I plan on going with my wife one year and doing some cool driving as an anniversary. She's all into it.http://www.bobbyoresports.com/courses.htm [This message has been edited by dark7068 (edited 12-15-2002).]

Hey SteveW, sorry I didn't get back quicker, I haven't been on for a few days. Anyhow, the prices are as follows, from the brochure we received. Super Comp dragster or Super Gas Firebird course runs $1795 and is a two day course and you will receive your NHRA Competition driver's license after attending. Alcohol course (funny car or dragster) is $4995 & is also 2 days. Dragster adventure is $398 for the full day or $139 for half day. The full day includes morning instruction 3 burn outs and 1/8 mile runs, plus 2 more burn outs and 2 1/4 mile runs. Hope this helps!!!!BTW, you can go on-line at www.frankhawley.com and request the entire brochure and pricing packet ------------------ Duane 71 Fastback (his) under resto (351C-4V C6 auto) 73 Mach 1 (hers) (351CJ 4 speed) 66 289/2V coupe (daughter Ashley's) 89 LX 2.3 convertible (daughter Amanda's) M & M Member #730 [This message has been edited by 71RESTO (edited 12-15-2002).]
