I was driving my car today.I noticed since I change the front shocks and removed my sway bar.The car unless it's straight when I hit it,it wants to go to the right, then left then right ect.... I tried to get a nice smokey burnout today ok so I was showing off,to some of my workers. The still spins the tires but really wants to go forword. I was turning left when I left my work warehouse area.I hit it before the car was all the way straight the dam thing would do donuts if you dont correct it.It's kinda of a hand full now. SCOOP

Now thats fuuny Eric because mine wants to go left when I shift into second,at 4500 and up. It's dam cold out now maybe thats what it is. But if you give any gas around a turn the tire break loose, then hang on. I like to fish tail some times but toady I scared myself. Scoop,I honestly can't remember which way it wants to pull, but I do know it pulls because my dad asked me if I felt it. I had adrenaline flowing when I did it at the time. Erik ------------------ 1966 Ford Mustang 2+2 Mine - Restomod in Progress 1966 Ford Mustang Coupe Dad's - Original Unrestored

Have you aired up the tires lately? The Lightning, when frying the hides, goes where it wants when the tires are properly aired up. One h ll of a fun ride in my book when that happens.------------------ -Paul 70 Mach1 79 Ranchero GT 97 Expedition XLT 00 SVT f150 Lightning 4149 of 4966 Born on: 06/26/2000 'life's tough... it's tougher if you're stupid.'

The tires are all pumped up right. The only thing I think of is the cap rotor plug wires, torque over strap, jetting up the carb. All added alittle power and the cold takes away alittle traction.SCOOP ------------------ oddly obsessed with big scoops on little Mustangs 2.26 60'S 14.9 @ 90.86MPH 65 coupe,351w,C4,Big Boss 429 hood scoop,8"3.40 TracLoc,Cragar SS,Black Suede. https://mustangsandmore.com/ubb/Fastymz.html

Is the car squatting pretty much on the right rear and the left front lifting a lot?I know these setting would help on double adjustables but not sure if the drag shocks are rebounce or compression settings. I think they are compression settings. Adjust the right rear shock tighter and the left rear shock looser in the rear. Settings like this should level the car some as it takes off. If you ever watch a drag car, when it takes off, the forces pull the right rear into the fenderwell and pushes the right rear out or down. This tends to put more traction/weight on the left rear driving the car to the right. [This message has been edited by Just Strokin (edited 12-11-2002).]

Mine pulls to the left... tried adjusting the air pressure, but that didn't work. For me anyway, I think the rear is moving a bit... not sure though. I don't think its the front end... the wheels are up when it first starts to pull, and its just in first gear. After I go into second it's fine.
