Nope,But it's a great cam for a lightly modified mostly street car running on pump gas. It's got a bumpy idle. SteveW

Dub, I don't have a sound clip for you, but we one in our '65. It sounds great running through headers, cherry bombs and duals. 270 is a great street grind The 's' could be worth as much as 10-15 hp/torque! ------------------ 1965 GT coupe, 333ci aluminum headed/solid cammed stroker, four speed, 3.70:1 9" All Blue Oval, no blue bottle http://mustangsandmore.50megs.com/V8Thumper.html

I don't have the 270S but I do have a solid that sounds like that. Nothing close to a sleeper sound. Erik ------------------ 1966 Ford Mustang 2+2 Mine - Restomod in Progress 1966 Ford Mustang Coupe Dad's - Original Unrestored

is the 270H alot better than the 268H cam?is there a 270S available for the 351W? do you need to upgrade your torque converter or gears when gettign a 270H?

270S is the same for 289-351W. You just use the 289 firing order. I don't like anything larger than a 268 S or H for a stoned stock engine. No headers, no 270. ------------------ Alex Denysenko Co-Administrator and Moderator NHRA/IHRA/SRA member and licensed Superstock driver MCA member# 53321 NHRA and IHRA SS/LA National Record Holder '00, '01, & '02 Fleet of FoMoCo products including 88 ASC McLaren Mustang #28 Professional Manwhore The Barry of BarrysGrrl Quote #1: "I never met a magazine mechanic I liked." gears are suggested, and the 270H is the largest cam you can go with the stock converter. Headers and 4-bbl carb as well. [This message has been edited by Dubz (edited 12-11-2002).]
