When I was driving by the Las Vegas Motor Speedway a few weeks ago,, American Hot Rod Association was having a Drag Meet.. Small Crowd,, Not Many cars.. Don't know if I have ever heard of AHRA before.. Last Thursday when I drove by NHRA was their,, Whole Nother Story.. BIG CROWDS..

DonYou sure that wasn't AHDRA? ... that'd be the American HARLEY Drag Racing *** 'n ...and by it's very nature not too awful many cars compete.

The AHRA still has one event per year in Washington I think. They are all but defunct otherwise. Don it coulda been worse... you could have picked up a tall girl in a sequinned gown hitchhiking that turned out to be a guy! Always keep alert in Vegas.
