We are still tweaking the Cable Clutch adjustment on my new T-5 conversion.. All the gears shift smooth and easy except 3rd.. Seems to grind going into it no matter what RPMs you try or what speed..

Could it be clutch ?? Shifter Adjustment ?? or Syncros ?? Are there any sure cure tests before I tear it apart to check the syncros..

T-5's are notorious for self destructing 3rd gear synchros Don. Sorry, but that's probably it.

If it was clutch related, all the gears should be hard to shift.Sorry, but I think a teardown is required.
