We got to the track and I found out from some racing friends the cuda had been up several times and got his car down to a 12.229. My fastest time was 12.237 so it was going to be close. My first run was a 12.195 @ 111.24 with 1.700 60' He ran a 12.40 @ 108 so apparently his new specially matched 700.00 carb didn't work. I then ran a 12.225 @ 111.40 with 1.728 60' My last run I decided to launch at 5000 rpm and go all out. I got a 1.630 60' but missed 3rd gear. This is the first time I have missed a gear in this car in all my races and it had to happen on the best launch. No 11's but closer. He never bested his 12.4 so I take another one for now. The track was too busy for any more runs. Thanks to everyone for your help. 2 years ago I was running 13.8 @103.

I know this is a Ford site but for information only. What dose that 02 Z06 run aways. I have a good friend that has a 02 Z28 with only a few mods.He turns 13.7 and thats with lots of tire spin and poor shifting. SCOOP
