Just got in from Top Gun at Fallon. It was a strange week end. First time run I ran a 14.077 at 99 mph Second round of time trials I popped out of 1st gear, not good. First round of Jackpot I was dialed at a 14.05 popped out again but my oponent popped the red on first. I was shooting in the dark on the dial in. So I left it at 14.05, ran a breaking out 13.90 at 77 mph. The other guy was dialed a 12.98 he had problems at the start, spun real bad lost him at the 1,000 foot mark so I ran it out till the first stripe. then could not slow enough. when I got back to the pit I took a prity good hazing from my friends. One of the Pro guys showed up with a 2 foot long rear view mirror asking if I needed it. Thanks. Any way I went 4 rounds in the Final abnd won $75.00. Team 1 from Infineon won the team Points for I think the 4 year in a row. Boy the other tracks don't seem to like us. ------------------ Glen 67 GT 390 65 Galaxie 500 XL 4 Speed It was not a Red Light they gave me a Slow Tree

Glen,GREAT JOB!! I was hoping to see the "wally" trophy on Wednesday night, but you did much better than anyone else I know. We had a great time camping with you and Scott. Glad that you can write the trip off as a business expense now, thanks to "Barb's" tupperware party. Who got Wally's from our team? SteveW

How was the track? And weather?Erik Track was much better than hoped for. The weather was just like Scoop said it would be. (Thanks Scoop Sorry that I did not call.) If you were standing in the sun you were hot , The Interior of your car was hot. If you were in the shade It was cold, In the Morning. 30 degs at night 58-70 in the day. "DA" Streve would be the one to answer that, as I have a severe case of CRS.

Ron,A Wally is "the" trophy in NHRA. Only given out at large events. It is a statue of Wally Parks the founder of the NHRA. Guys like John Force have a room full of them, but bracket racers usually don't. SteveW
