It nice that someone like yourself with a really quick car takes the time to give some input to "us" slower guys.

Anything I can do to help. I started off a lot slower than that, and I remember how hard it was to go faster, especially without any input from guys who were faster.

I wonder if I should put my car on a diet. It weighs 3170 and with myself in it 3335lbs. I run full dual 2 1/2" exhaust as I dont want to piss off the neighbours when I come home from the track and take it off the trailer.

That makes it even more impressive. 11's thru street mufflers.
A diet for the car would definatley be helpful, but if it is still a street car at all, that might not be so great. A liteweight glass hood isnt very strong, neither are 'glass bumbers. The factory seats are kind of heavy, but, I wouldnt want to sit on a fiberglass seat for very long driving around on the street. And I doubtt if any passengers would like it either, especailly if you took the passenger seat clear out.

Ahhh running 11's! If you do that without a rollbar they get kinda cross at ya Weight reduction helps... you can get lightweight and comfortable seats, look at the ones for sporty cars (Corbeau ,etc) A 'glass hood is a good move, stock ones are HEAVY... easy 30lbs saved there with a bolt-on braced hood.

I dont have a roll bar yet. IHRA states 11.49,NHRA 11.99. Probably a good idea though!
