I need some tips on how to install the traction bars from Larry, thanks again Larry. They are the South Side lift bars. I know they replace my spring plates. #1 dose any thing go between them and the leafs?#2 Dose it matter what size Ubolts I have,or do they all work.I have the 8" with the smaller tube ends. Do the 3"bolts have a different bolt pattern. #3 There are some shims that go on the end were it bolts to the front of the leaf. How do I know to use the shims or not. #4 any tips or help with these would be great. With my back the way it is I hope to only have to get under the once before Friday. Scoop,Yes size matters (that's what the honest GRRRLs tell me). Are the bars made for 3" u-bolts? Measure from the start of one hole to the start of the other for a center to center measurement. They are probably 3", so you'll have to put a 9" in it or egg shape the holes so your little ones (u-bolts) will fit. SteveW

Sorry bout that Ron! I only have one small rear in my life and it aint in a car, and it mine either , just use your spring plates as a guide and make the holes line up. ------------------ Advertising is the science of arresting the human intelligence long enough to get money from it.
