OK heres my advertising speil for Synthetic gear lubes... not only do they slip like crazy and pour real easily, but after a huge overheating they seem OK. Some of ya may recall my ramp truck had a big fire last summer. I finally got the ambition to tear into it . I pulled the charred chrome cover off and the gear lube was clean and poured right out, none baked to the housing inside. Pinion seal is burnt and the whole housing may be bent, which i'll straighten when i add the rear disc brake housing ends. Gears are mint. The plastic gas tank that sat behind the rear end is all warped and melted, but the pump inside it looks like new. No gas or fumes in it. The silver aircraft paint that the rims were done in is a golden brown on the worst one, which i turned to use as an inner rim. This stuff should be durable on headers after the fire they went thru. I think i'm going to do my headers in it, worst it can do is burn off and thats already done with the VHT on there.

$50 worth? I think you are overfilling it! I felt bad about dumping it into a dirty container... it looks usable still.
