This may be a recycled topic. What is the general opinion of these items. Good or bad>?I have a Weiand X-cellerator 4V on my Cleveland, With a square bore carb. Will one of these help me? If, so should I get the 4 hole or open type? Should I get the two inch or the one inch? Do they help bottom end power? Thanks as always for the advise. I went from an open 1/2inch to a 4hole 1". And yes it did make a difference at low end too. SCOOP

4 Hole - low and mid range. (1000-6000 rpms) Taller - extended rpm range Open - mid and top end. (2500+ rpms) From my experience, you can't go wrong with any type from 1-2 inches. Just make sure that you have enough hood clearance for the spacer and the xtra gasket. BS
