I cant think of any cons to the heads, besides cost.

And the pro's there will be many.
They are liter and flow better all the way around.
They are great heads.

Pros - Light weight with stock Ford valve train geometry and good valve and guide wear, increased flow for stock or mildly modified street engine.
Cons - Don't flow as well as most aftermarket heads, once known for having soft spring shims and no spring pocket inserts. This causes metal flakes to get into the oil. Not sure if they have remedied this yet.

if i was building a motor for my grandad and he wanted to peel out at the moose lodge id go with the little edelbrocks. mostly because pop is picky and he gets on my nerves so id want a set of heads that were excelent in the finish and quality out of the box. they are a good value at a decent price. consider all the aftermarket choices because each is best for a given combination.
