Hey, THUMPING COUGAR. We have a windsor, with keith black domed pistons. It has mild ported GT-40 heads small valves, torker II intake, 750cfm double pumper. We use elgin solid cam, with .536i and .560e lift and the duration is 248i 258e @ .050. It is in an 1984 mustang that is race only. It has run the best of 7.17 @ 94 mph. In the heat the first time down the quater mile it ran 11.66 @ 114mph. This combo has worked very well for us. The desk top dyno said about 450HP. Take the desk top dyno for what is worth. Just thought you would like to know what we did with our windsor. All under $3000.
