friend of mine works in a police garage and got me a free electric fan out of a crown vic cruiser. the vic runs a factory 90 amp alternator, my 67 has the standard 60 amp. alternator/starter shop says i shouldnt have a problem running it because i dont have a/c, big stereo, or any power options. right now im having a slight clearance problem between the nose of the water pump and the fan motor.....about 1/4 inch. i can do a little cutting and welding and make it work with a pepboys thermostat switch. has anybody tried this and is it worth the trouble?------------------ 67 coupe, 650dp and rpm intake on 5.0 with afr 165 heads, 4 speed, 4.11's.....best so far is [email protected] in 1/8 mile with 1.79 60ft. time.

well, ok. i will have to cut into that sheetmetal behind the grill where the original radiator bolted up to get the 1/4-1/2 inch i need to clear the nose of the water pump. i figure if i cant get a decent 60 ft time, i'll just power my way to a 7 second pass. something has to give. ------------------ 67 coupe, 650dp and rpm intake on 5.0 with afr 165 heads, 4 speed, 4.11's.....best so far is [email protected] in 1/8 mile with 1.79 60ft. time.
