Was saving these parts for a future buildup for my Fairlane, but that's not gonna happen anytime soon, so I need to get them out of the garage. I am in the SF Bay Area, and don't want to ship due to size. I do make it to Reno, NV and LA occasionally, so I may be able to deliver. $100 takes it all.... Thanks! Brian IP: Logged

brian busch Journeyman Posts: 6 From: california, USA Registered: Oct 2002	posted 03-31-2003 06:35 PM I am not an expert in assessing condition, but I would say these parts are in fair to good shape. Everything needs a good cleaning (hot tank). Some rust on the crank surfaces, but nothing too bad. I would turn it before re-using. Block looks to be in good shape. Cam and lifters are still in it. I picked this stuff up from a guy in the Fairlane club who was going to build this up for a Ranchero, but could not due to failing health. He told me that it was out of a 69 or 70 Mustang that belonged to a buddy of his. Part # on the block is D1--, so it may not be the original motor out of a 69-70. I'm at work now, but if you need more info, I can look at the stuff tonight and post better descriptions tomorrow. IP: Logged

I have a set off a 67 Fairlane 289 that are in good shape if you are interested. I have no idea what they are worth. Let me know if you are interested, we can work out a price. brian IP: Logged
