I know that it's realistic if you look for that car is CA. I don't know anything about markets in other states, just going by what I've seen around. Good luck in your search.

You should be able to find a pretty nice Stang for $5k. I got my '68 coupe for less than that. You'll probably have to look somewhere other than Pensacola to find a solid car. Cars along the coast are more likely to be rusty. Good Luck.

5K For a coupe needing restoration is very realistic,I bought a 65 v-8 stick shift coupe a short while ago that was structurally very sound,it needs alot of other work, but I got it for $400.So they are out there, just make sure you get a solid foundation, the rest of the stuff is easy.Later,Good luck with your search.

I know where a 65 coupe is needs front fenders( easy fix with suppliers from this site) & paint. Plus it's a "A" code( 225 H.P. 4V) 4-speed car. Also the front seats are ripped & it will need a radio & carpet, tires. It's around $2800.Should be a easy fun solid starter Stang for you. It's a couple hours from Chicago, Bob

I have a 66 that I just had stripped (media blasted) and is ready for resto. It will need some patching on the 1/4's, the panel between the gas tank & tailight panel, cowl top hats, and some minor swiss cheese holes around the cowl. It was a 6 cyl converted to 8 w/ 8" rear & disc brakes. It was a Pony Interior w/ A/C, AT. I have a bunch of misc parts that go with it and a C-4 for rebuilding. I have &1250 in it and I'd charge $100 to deliver to Pensacola. If you're interested, let me know, as I'll be in P'cola Friday.
