anyone have an automatic tranny (if you have all the parts to convert from a manual to an auto would be a PLUS! ) for a '65 or '66 Six Cylinder (200ci)???? Thanks, have a good one ------------------ Dan - and yes, I am still called "Dan Dan The Chevy Man" to this day! haha 1965 Coupe "BeeBop" Straight "6" 3-spd manual w/Hurst Shift https://mustangsandmore.com//ubb/TheIceman.html

Well heres the thing, I dont NEED the tranny so to speak --- However, i do have the "paper three-speed" in my stang and I feel that it cant hurt to perhaps look for and keep my eyes peeled for an Automatic for my stang (this being my first manual car, i fear that ill grind the gears a few times ) Sooooooo whenever you have it ready would be fine -- as i said, i dunno if ill be buying it but definitely keep me in consideration! (i have room in my garage ) As for price, what would you be asking for the Engine AND Tranny, and how much would you be asking for JUST the tranny (and all other needed components such as shifter, flexplate, etc)????? Just as a sidenote - Jack Collins (another sixer on this board, im sure youve seen his posts) offered me his 3-spd Auto from his '66 with 77k on the clock for $150 plus $75 freight (minus the flexplate, yoke, and shifter rod) Sorry about the length and thanks for keepin me in your head!!! Ill keep in touch for sure as time goes along and more discussion is made have a good one
