anyone have an automatic tranny (if you have all the parts to convert from a manual to an auto would be a PLUS! ) for a '65 or '66 Six Cylinder (200ci)????
Thanks, have a good one

Well heres the thing, I dont NEED the tranny so to speak --- However, i do have the "paper three-speed" in my stang and I feel that it cant hurt to perhaps look for and keep my eyes peeled for an Automatic for my stang (this being my first manual car, i fear that ill grind the gears a few times )
Sooooooo whenever you have it ready would be fine -- as i said, i dunno if ill be buying it but definitely keep me in consideration! (i have room in my garage )
As for price, what would you be asking for the Engine AND Tranny, and how much would you be asking for JUST the tranny (and all other needed components such as shifter, flexplate, etc)?????
Just as a sidenote - Jack Collins (another sixer on this board, im sure youve seen his posts) offered me his 3-spd Auto from his '66 with 77k on the clock for $150 plus $75 freight (minus the flexplate, yoke, and shifter rod)
Sorry about the length and thanks for keepin me in your head!!! Ill keep in touch for sure as time goes along and more discussion is made have a good one

Dan-

I have the C4 that I've just taken out of my 66 sitting in my carport. I know my wife would love to see it go. Make you a solid deal on it.

Wanna give me a shout offlist? [email protected]

Jim O, thanks for the offer! however it seems that 69 maverick has it covered! haha

69 Mav- hmmmmmmmm this is intriguing (i just got in some trouble with my parents, so as for the next week or so, im not too sure how buying an engine/tranny or just a tranny would make them feel -- if you know what i mean hahaha ) hmmmmmm hmm hmm!
Ill keep you posted and updated, because gosh that price is good!!!!
whats your email address so I can email you on the side (unless you would just like to post here which is fine too! haha)???
Just keep me in mind before you go sellin it to someone else!!!
thanks, have a good one
