Second time in a week now, after turning ign. key off, it still keeps on running. The first time I just moved key back and forth a few times, this time that trick didn't work and I made the mistake of pulling the coil wire "ZZZZT". Ign. switch or something else?------------------

i would put my money on the ign switch. ots a lot easier and cheaper to replace than a lot of things. that coil wire is lots of fun, huh?------------------

Try getting zapped by the anode wire going to the back of a T.V. picture tube. 28/30 thousand volts. the whole arm aches for a while.------------------

My money is on the seleniod i know cause it happened to one of my 66 and so i switched them and it did it on the other one.process of elimination..bruce

I'd replace the ignition swicth and then the solenoid.Dont let it go to long.------------------

Thanks guys, as cheap as switch and solenoid are, I'll replace both. Ain't gettin zapped again, the '67 is parked until parts arrive.------------------

That's a common ignition switch failure symptom.------------------
