Second time in a week now, after turning ign. key off, it still keeps on running. The first time I just moved key back and forth a few times, this time that trick didn't work and I made the mistake of pulling the coil wire "ZZZZT". Ign. switch or something else?

Try getting zapped by the anode wire going to the back of a T.V. picture tube. 28/30 thousand volts. the whole arm aches for a while.

That's a common ignition switch failure symptom.
