I would like to thank David C and Steve66 for their assistance in helping me get these headers in. Your Emails and tips made the job much easier. With the help of a friend (and his lift), we installed the 6208 Super Comps in my 65 351W in about 4 hours - Would have been faster if I had read the instructions first. After I had both headers in and tightened, motor down and fastened - HOW DO WE GET THE CLUTCH LINKAGE IN - OOPS. Re loosen the drivers side and start again. Wow, they are gorgeous "Jet Hot Coated" and man do they ever twist and turn, but they fit great. Scoop, These really went in easy, well worth the money. I remember you saying how hard it was to get your Hedman's installed. ------------------ Have a Wonderful Day CandyApple 65 Fastback 351W, 4 Speed Versaille 9" Rear End Global West Front End [email protected]

Nice! I did the same thing. Put my headers in and then oops, how do you get that z-bar in there, my dad's reply, take the header out and put the z-bar in the header and slip them in as one. Oh, well they were still worth the extra work.! ------------------ 1970 coupe restored with the help of my dad. 302 with 600 holley, aluminum intake, headers, pertonix ignitor 2 with matched coil, lakewood bellhousing, 4-speed toploader, and 2.79 open 8" rear. Bitchin Ernie, I've got Super Comps in my car on my 'little' motor, and they too installed smooth compared to other headers I've had to beat the snot out of~ uh, I mean install That Jet Hot coating is sweet, isn't it? I had my motor all completely assembled on the stand with headers and all, and it was so pretty I almost didn't want to put it in the car ------------------ 1965 GT coupe, 333ci aluminum headed/solid cammed stroker, four speed, 3.70:1 9" All Blue Oval, no blue bottle http://mustangsandmore.50megs.com/V8Thumper.html

They will be the next set of headers I get. The hedman headers are a far cry from fiting good in my opinion. But now since they are in,I'll run them until I pull the motor. ------------------ SCOOP oddly obsessed with big scoops on little Mustangs 2.26 60'S 14.9 @ 90.86MPH 65 coupe,351w,C4,Big Boss 429 hood scoop,8"3.40 TracLoc,Cragar SS,Black Suede. https://mustangsandmore.com/ubb/Fastymz.html
