My car pulls alot to the drivers side when ever I stop.Adjusting the brakes helps, but even after that it still pulls once in while.I have replaced all the brake parts and the wheel bearings about 2 years ago.Since then I have put about 4000 miles on the car.How many times a year should I have to adjust the front brakes.I did not replace the drums they were still good.Would new drums help?
Or could it be a wheel bearing problem. It always pulls to the same side, ever since I've had the car.

SCOOP,
You didn't mention when was the last time you had the front end aligned. I think you may find what you're looking for there.

You may want to ask the alignment guy to check the "squareness" of the car as well....

Just my thoughts,
Ryan

Could be alignment, or could be something wrong with one of the wheel cylinders - did you replace the cylinders 2 years ago? Drums are notorious for pulling to one side, especially if they are not perfectly round (the drums). You can have drums cleaned up and made round again I think.

Another trick to fix the pull is to switch the front drums one side of the car to the other. You end up with grooves worn in the drum that have a tendency to grab and pull.

Another area to look is sometimes worn strut or control arm bushings can make a car pull to one side during braking.

I've never had the car aligned, well ok once when I first got the car over 4years ago.
I'm been collecting the parts for new front end parts, tie rods, adjusters, center link, idler arm, strut rod bushings, ect. My brother inlaw is a front end guy he has looked over the front end.And he thinks the ball joints are ok.
When I get all the parts and get them on.Then I'll take it over and have it alegned. The only reason I think it's the brakes is because it goes any or at least gets alot when I adjust them.I replaced every thing including the hoses. But for the drums and the adjusting stars, which are both rounded off. When I did the brake the job.If I take the time and adjust both brakes to work as close as I can get them. The front will not pull amlost 80% of the time.Maybe I just need new auto adjusters and stars?

Dave thats a great idea,I'll try that and adjust the brakes and see what happens.

Are both drums the same? On my 66, one was a paper thin original and the other was a recent replacement that was wider ( all replacement drums for the front accept 2 1/2" shoes!)and had cooling fins. Also check your backing plates for wear. Mine were badly worn where the shoes ride, I had to weld them up and then grind them flat and smooth. Check your whole system!

BTW, you can get a Wilwood, 4 piston fordge aluminum caliper with 11.75" rotors and proportioning valve for $612.00 to your door from www.hotrodusa.com
