We did a show with the Mustangs Owner Club of Austin. I got to get some pictures of grabberBlue with a P51.

Now that's pretty slick! I'd love to do that with my Mach1 and at the same time do the same with a P-38 and my Lightning. What the he11, I'd have to scrounge up a '64 Thunderbolt with a P-47.

The P51 is the fighter plane behind the car. Some say the Mustang was named after it.

That is wild. WWII planes and old hotrods are just cool.

If I remember the P51 was considered THE U.S. fighter fo the war. Unlike our Mustangs which were the creation of the pony car hotrod, the P51 was a perfection of the fighter first appearing mid-war May 10, 1942 in Western Europe.

I don't know... I prefer the P51B over the P51D..

As Far as WWII Fighters Go, the P-38 Lightning is the Sexiest machine out there... or the Me 262, or the Gotha Flying Wing, or the Mig 3, or the, or the...
