I finally found myself a set of 3.25:1, 8 inch, 3rd member posi unit. It is on its way to me now, but , what I would like to know is, what will my RPMs be with a C4, at the following speeds:

40 MPH = RPMs

50 MPH = RPMs

60 MPH = RPMs

70 MPH = RPMs

80 MPH = RPMs

90 MPH = RPMs

100 MPH = RPMs

110 MPH = RPMs

Thanks in advance for your help on this one.

Depends on your tire size to be exact, but with my 215/55-16's (25.3" tall), I get (approx):

40 MPH 1750 RPM
50 MPH 2200 RPM
60 MPH 2650 RPM
70 MPH 3100 RPM
80 MPH 3550 RPM
90 MPH 4000 RPM
100 MPH 4450 RPM
110 MPH 4500 RPM *edit 4900 RPM*

Those are 26.11" tall, so that gives you:

40 MPH = 1718 RPMs

50 MPH = 2148 RPMs

60 MPH = 2578 RPMs

70 MPH = 3007 RPMs

80 MPH = 3437 RPMs

90 MPH = 3866 RPMs

100 MPH = 4296 RPMs

110 MPH = 4726 RPMs

John try this site, you can put in any speed tire size or gears. It's a lot of fun I spend many hours on it.

http://www.prestage.com/carmath/calc_Gears.asp

Dont worry about the RPM's just floor,it's all about whaaaaaaa factor anyways.
