This was done by my friend "Restoman" who owns JD'S auto. This car was brought to hime a little over a year ago. The owner bought it brand new and insisted on have it restored. The body was done a few years back but was all Bondo hiding rot. Car was 289 2v 3 spd manual. Now has fully remanufactured engine and 4 spd trans with 3.50 rear. New brakes, suspension, GT exhaust, new interior, new fenders, 1/4 panels, rear body panel, floors, torque boxes, rear wheel houses, rear frame rails, and front skirts with rails and shock tower. Used Arizona rust free doors and deck lid. The only orginal sheet metal is the hood. New chrome trim, door handles, bumpers, grille, and lamps. Conv, top was fairly new. Customer insisted on keeping it a 2v. He didn't care how much it cost because he owned it since new. He also didn't care about being original. The car was Green and this is the color he wanted. I think it came out beautiful and runs great too. Thanx Ron. That's not a Cobra. Look close I think it's a Triumph front and a Cobra back. RAy------------------ RAY, THE WISE A@@ PHILLY GUY!! CLICK FOR MY PHOTO ALBUM http://mustangsandmore.50megs.com/MembersPics/7DMach1.htmL

Look at the newest album I just made entitles "Jackies Rolls Royce". The car belongs to a guy from Fla. that brought this car to JD's to restore. It's was Jackie Onasis {Kennedy} car. 1952 Rolls Royce. The stucture of this car is made of Ash wood. All the stucture had to be hand made and replaced plus a total restoration of drivetrain, brakes, suspension and body. Also added another A/C unit since it only had it in the pass compartment. This has been over 3 years in the making and is almost done. Now you know why I go to JD'S. http://community.webshots.com/user/7dmach1 ------------------ RAY, THE WISE A@@ PHILLY GUY!!
