How big a deal would it be to retro-fit a late 67, 68 collapsible 2-piece steering column and box to my '65? What about the column wiring connectivity to the main harness? Are the one-piece steering shafts on the early cars really considered to be a safety harzard? thanks, Todd.

might work. might be more trouble than it's worth ! The dash is enough different that I think that you might have alot of trouble making everything work.

Todd I found in July 2000 M&F mag,and How To put a 1968-69 Collapse steering shaft in an pre 68 Ford.If you wont a copy of the article let me know.
I could even send you the whole Magazine.Just send it back when your done with you send it.

Excellent! It took about 45 minutes, but I went through my old magazines in the garage and found that issue. Looks like it will work with a little effort.
