Now I just need to get the time to finish it. As you can see I still need interior and a windshield. I've been working on it for about a year. I figure I have the long Nebraska winter to finish it.

Patrick, tell me more about the motor, and the rest of the car. Those rear tires look alittle small, for all that motor. I like the color matched buttle flys on the scoop. Ron,The car wasn't a rust bucket when I started, but we did put NOS qtr panels, outer wheel housings and trunk drop offs on it. The floors and all the structural areas where solid. There was also many hours spent on the hood getting the hole right and filling in all the braces that we cut through. A body shop in a small town of 300 people did the paint. They almost entirely work on old cars and build street rods. My car was the newest car at their shop the time it was there. The drivetrain is a 351 Cleveland, C-6 transmission and a 31 spline nodular 9 inch with 3.70 gears. I do want to drive the car that's why it doesn't have 4.11 gears. It's a pretty basic Cleveland. Four bolt main with ARP studs, factory 4MA crank, factory rods, resized with ARP bolts, TRW forged dished pistons, open chamber 4V heads with stainless valves and K-motion springs, Steve's 3/8" Manley pushrods, custom ground Comp cam, Harland Sharp rockers, Hooker headers, Hampton blower intake, custom Mallory Unilite dizzy, MSD coil and digital 6 box. I will be putting 12-14 pounds of boost in the engine. Someday I would like to find a XE Cleveland Nascar block. I don't know how long a factory Cleveland block will last. The tires might be a little small. They are 10" wide BFG drag radials. If there is anything else you would like to know just ask. So far it has been a fun project. And I know it will be fun when it's done. Patrick

VERY,VERY nice car. Great work on the body... I have been in love with those 73 Mach's since i saw Dimonds are forever(( old James Bond flick)) Good luck on the Nascar block. Are you running a two bolt main block or something? I have a friend that has a blown alc 351 4 bolt clevland pushing 20psi boost witha 14-71 blower and has never had a problem with the block. That is kind of what I have been hearing about the Nascar block. "Good luck" It does make me feel a little better that someone is putting that much boost in a Cleveland block and it is still alive.

Sleve a 4 bolt main and you should never have a problem. I have a spare just in case for mine. But in 5 years i have never needed it. even when my foot and my ego pushed the rev limiter up to 9k.. On a few pases to beat a guy i did not get along with. You have solved the biggest problem for a 351c. How to flow those big valves and ports... Have you ever seen a GM guy's jaw doop when they see a port or a valve from a 4v????? Its to die for... Rene
