Found a guy who will build me a 8" traction lok with my choice of gear ratio for $399 plus shipping (complete pumpkin ready to drop in).

Correct me if I'm wrong, please, because it sounds like a hell of a deal to me.

I'm thinking either 3.40 or 3.55 as a good compromise for street use.

Price is very good. 3.80 gears would be a better choice in my oppinion.

Hey Sig,
Is that with disk or drum brakes? If you don't mind, could you send the fellows name and contact info to me via e-mail? Thanks.

Oh yea, the thread topic

That's a very good price... I've seen built 8" T-locks for as much as $600+ at local swap meets

Heh heh. This makes me feel good. I got the buddy discount on a trac-loc diff from a coworker. I haven't picked it up yet, so I don't know the exact gear ratio, but I know it's 3.55 or better. I paid $80 and I know the trac-loc is still in good shape as well.

Thanks guys. I'm home for about another month and a half before I leave again for 6 months. Still not around much right now, trying to keep the wife as happy as I can before I leave her again.
