Well I hated to do it, but the coupe went into hibernation for the winter. Brother in law has a large garage that is excellent for storage, fees are real cheap. So now my coupe is in company for the winter with a bunch of cars:84 SVO 65 GT 350 02 Thunderbird 67 K code GT 71 Ranchero 67 67 GT 67 Convt At least now I might get some ambition and finish Becks convertible. She gave me the ultimatum to have it finished by the Pigeon Forge National. Mike

I'm not ready to put my 65 away for the winter yet. We will still have some nice days in the 50s before January. Last year I only had to put it away for 4mo's. I did sneak it out one day after a good snow last year.It was kinda fun,but boy did it get dirty. Two of the three race cars were put away and up on stands yesterday also. Rockers backed off, cylinders lubed up, and all orfices corked. Cars are covered and in dry warm strage until next season. But...the convert is race ready should we get one more hint of Indian Summer yet this year. ------------------ Alex Denysenko Co-Administrator and Moderator NHRA/IHRA/SRA member and licensed Superstock driver MCA member# 53321 NHRA and IHRA SS/LA National Record Holder '00, '01, & '02 Fleet of FoMoCo products including 88 ASC McLaren Mustang #28 Professional Manwhore The Barry of BarrysGrrl Quote #1: "I never met a magazine mechanic I liked." Thanks Pete, I need your support. I figure as long as I don't have Becks car done, she will have to keep me and not trade me off on a newer model. We could as the Kahuna from Maine when the 72 Sprint will get done, or is a permanent fixture of the house Mike [This message has been edited by kcode (edited 11-12-2002).]

Having moved to the Orlando, Fl area from Buffalo, NY within the last 6 months, I feel for all you Mustangers that have to store your cars.Used to make me nuts, and I definately got cabin-fever after a while. Here in Kissimmee, its drivin' weather year round! Yee-Haw!! Its gonna feel a little odd gettin' third-gear rubber on Christmas day, but I'm sure I'll get used to it!------------------
