I had the wife finally get a set of Tayler(sp?) 8mm spark plug wires for the 302. It purred with the fresh set on it. Man these are nice.
A little back ground... months ago I got clever and broke a valve cover bolt and an ez-out. When we bought the car, the engine had been rebuilt, but nothing was done to the heads. I found it was cheaper to buy a nice rebuilt set of C9 351W heads than to have mine fixed. I replaced the heads. As I was pulling off the 8mm spark plug wires, I broke 2(that I know of). I replaced those 2 with a cheap 7mm set I had. The car vibrated pretty bad. A few adjustments and it was better, but not good. Now with these new wires it run nice. I just need a bumper and I will start driving it to work daily.

Thanks for your time.

What you need is the RPM Air Gap intake sitting in my garage.

Let me know when you start driving it, so I can stop by and check it out.

It has a Offy intake and E-brock 600 cfm 4bbl carb. I had a performer intake, but I liked the Offy more. It goes well with the other vintage dress up pieces.

I could go with a berry bomb, but I want my fuel going through the carb, not out its seams.

Glad to hear that the car is almost road ready.
I have had 4 boots crack on my talor 8mm wires.Summit asures me that they are not hearing anything like that from other customers.

SCOOP,
I hope that doesn't happen. The boots on these are very thick. You can also ship me that Carter any time you want.

Alex, it that a 3/4 cam?

jsracingbbf, you have mail.

What do you guys use for wire looms? These new wires are a little longer than what it can with(which I wanted)and I want to keep a clean looking engine compartment.

Thanks.
