raise the hood..should be on the right fenderpanel(facing the car)...and in the car.,on the rightside.below windshield..db

You can locate your VIN number either on the drivers side shock tower flat, near where the fender joins it, between the core support and the hood hinge.
Or, as long as the door is the original or at least the tag, your protectoplate is located on the drivers door near the latch mechanism.

(I've been waiting for years to to that.)

Just kidding. A car has a left side and right side no matter which way you're facing.

The VIN tags didn't show up at the base of the windshield until 1968 - on the right side - and then the left side in 1969.

Actually, it was the 113,542nd unit built, because they start off at 100001.
