We repainted the front end of my '66 today,,, Flames and all... We redesigned the flames on the sides and did practically the same flames on the hood... We mixed the PPG Harlequinn (Flip/Flop) Paint just a little heavier this time... Oh Yeah,,, we also attached all the trim before we start painting... Looks really good... You can stand in front of the hood and it is blue directly in front of you,,, gold to the right,,, and purple to the left... I will try to post a few pictures tomorrow... For now,,, I am tired and my back is killing me from bending over all day... Nobody told me that Flaming was such a tough Business... Don [This message has been edited by Big D (edited 09-21-2002).]

It only takes about 2 hours for the paint to dry to the touch... We will wait for a couple of days to begin wet sanding and buffing...The clear coate went down better than the first time we painted... Not bad for a make shift paint booth in a garage... There are some pics of the new paint scheme at the link below... Look in "66 Mustang New Paint"... http://pub39.bravenet.com/photocenter/album.php?usernum=3336742731 While you're there,,, check out "Wells Fun Run 2002"... Couple of great BURNOUT Competition Shots... Both of those guys got inducted into our "BURNOUT HALL OF FAME"... and one's a 41 Ford Cpe... ------------------ Don '66 Fastback 302 with 5 speed Royal Blue Metallic w/Ghost Flames https://mustangsandmore.com/ubb/BigD.html We Will Never Forget Keep The Faith America [This message has been edited by Big D (edited 09-21-2002).] [This message has been edited by Big D (edited 09-21-2002).]
