aren't thse parking lights s'posed to be on when you have your lights on ? or do they just function as turn signals ? I reconnected the p lights to the harness found behind the headlights, and they work as turn signals ...am I missing something here ?

They are supposed to be on when the parking lights or head lights are on. ------------------ Alex Denysenko Co-Administrator and Moderator/ non 65-66 Mustang owner sensitivity co-ordinator NHRA/IHRA/SRA/MCA member NHRA and IHRA SS/LA National Record Holder '00, '01, & '02 Fleet of FoMoCo products including 88 ASC McLaren Mustang #28 Part time secret agent license #0089 Professional Manwhore The Barry of BarrysGrrl Quote: "I never met a magazine mechanic I liked."

Hell, now I'm not sure! I haven't had my headlights on in so long I forget. Now I'll have to go and look. I generally only use the parking lights when I race at night and never pull the switch out all the way. It's been a long day so I'll check tomorrow. Hell, even I'm entitled to be wrong once in a great while. ------------------ Alex Denysenko Co-Administrator and Moderator/ non 65-66 Mustang owner sensitivity co-ordinator NHRA/IHRA/SRA/MCA member NHRA and IHRA SS/LA National Record Holder '00, '01, & '02 Fleet of FoMoCo products including 88 ASC McLaren Mustang #28 Part time secret agent license #0089 Professional Manwhore The Barry of BarrysGrrl Quote: "I never met a magazine mechanic I liked."

On my soon to be sold 65, have clear lenses in the park lites. The amber looked terrible with the light turquoise on the car. Scored these out of some Cougar park lites. For a different, less obvious look, the clear are better. Still have the amber bulbs.

Well it doesn't happen very often, but I was wrong! The parking lights do indeed go out when you pull the switch all the way out and turn on the headlights. I have too many cars and trucks so I get confused a lot lately. At least I am man enough to admit when I AM wrong. ------------------ Alex Denysenko Co-Administrator and Moderator/ non 65-66 Mustang owner sensitivity co-ordinator NHRA/IHRA/SRA/MCA member NHRA and IHRA SS/LA National Record Holder '00, '01, & '02 Fleet of FoMoCo products including 88 ASC McLaren Mustang #28 Part time secret agent license #0089 Professional Manwhore The Barry of BarrysGrrl Quote: "I never met a magazine mechanic I liked."
