The questions are coming frequently now as I get close to the end of a ten year project! The latest is regarding the 66's speedometer cable. The long tube Hooker Comps may cause some issues; but in general, does the cable enter the toploader from "around" the transmission crossmember, or "through" the opening between the sides of the crossmember, or through some other secret way? It seems a little tight in either case. Thanks again for any help.------------------ Bernie Frank 66 Fastback restomod project 85 GT (preserved) 82 GT (original)

Bernie, Trying to remember, my memory fails me quite frequently, there is a clip that will attach it to the support welded to the floorpan then the end is fed through the "U" opening in the trans crossemeber and into the passengerside of the toploader. And yes header collectors do get in the way.Mike
